Promotion of a commemorative postage stamp on the occasion of the donation of the Sovereign Order of Malta to the Principality of Serbia in 1885.

Organized by the Embassy of the Sovereign Order of Malta in the Republic of Serbia and the Embassy of the Republic of Serbia to the Sovereign Order of Malta, on October 24, 2025, a promotion of a commemorative postage stamp was held at the Serbian Post Museum in Belgrade.

The postage stamp was printed for the occasion of the 140th anniversary of the donation of the ambulance train composition to the Principality of Serbia by the Order of Malta. Both Francesco M. Amoruso, Ambassador of the Sovereign Order of Malta to Serbia and Dr. Sima Avramović, Ambassador of Serbia to the Holy See and the Sovereign Order of Malta, in their respective speeches, emphasized the long-standing relationship and the importance of cooperation between the Republic of Serbia and the Sovereign Order of Malta.  The guests were also greeted by the Director General of the Post of Serbia Zoran Anđelković.

The event was attended by a significant number of prominent figures from public life, politics and diplomacy, including the Apostolic Nuncio of the Holy See to the Republic of Serbia, Msgr. Santo Rocco Gangemi, President of the Parliamentary Friendship Group between Serbia and the Sovereign Military Order of Malta, Jovan Palalić and many other distinguished guests.
