Lecture by Ambassador Avramović at "Carità politica" | Embassy of the Republic of Serbia in Holy See

At the opening session of the conference on religion and diplomacy organized by the esteemed association "Carità politica" from 13th to 15th October in the Vatican’s Palace of St. Callistus, Serbian Ambassador to the Holy See, Dr. Sima Avramović, gave a lecture entitled "Religious Diplomacy in Serbia – Past and Present".

Within the framework of the topic, he outlined the historical, cultural and geographical context of the interaction of religions on the territory of Serbia, starting from the Middle Ages and the genesis of Serbian statehood and Serbian Church. He also gave an update on the current state of interfaith relations and the challenges present in the modern era.
