On July 4th, 2022 Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia to the Holly See and to the Sovereign Order of Malta H. E. Sima Avramović visited Fr. David Nazar, Rector of the Pontifical Oriental Institute in Rome.

On that occasion he delivered him three publications with the general title Byzantine Heritage and Serbian Аrt issued by the Institute for Byzantine Studies of the Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts as a present to the Library of that university institution.

In a friendly and fruitful conversation it is stressed that a number of different activities of the Pontifical Oriental Institute and the Embassy of the Republic of Serbia to the Holly See should be planned.
