Belgrade 05.02.2016. - Archbishop Luciano Suriani, new Apostolic Nuncio to Serbia, presented his credentials to Serbian President Tomislav Nikolic on Friday.

Archbishop Suriani told President Nikolic that he was honored to hand over to him the letter of credence by which Pope Francis had authorized him to perform the duties of the Apostolic Nuncio of the Holy See in Serbia.

The credentials presentation ceremony was attended by Monsignor Janusz Stanislaw Blachowiak, first secretary of the Apostolic Nunciature of the Holy See in Serbia.

Nikolic wished Archbishop Suriani welcome and a lot of cooperation.
